No. 3 Arizona 67, Oregon 65:
Nick Johnson scored 18 points, including five late free throws, as the Wildcats rebounded from their first loss of the season with an ugly home victory over the Ducks.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson delivered 14 points and 10 rebounds for Arizona (22-1, 9-1 Pac-12), which was playing its first full game without third-leading scorer Brandon Ashley, who broke his foot in Saturday's loss to California and will miss the rest of the season. The Wildcats used only seven players in this one and overcame 19-of-35 free-throw shooting, including a hideous 2-of-11 effort from freshman Aaron Gordon, who only scored six points.

Kaleb Tarczewski scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half and T.J. McConnell nailed a clutch 3-pointer down the stretch to help Arizona win its 18th straight home game. Oregon (15-7, 3-7), which has lost seven of nine following its 13-0 start, was led by Joseph Young and Jason Calliste with 14 points apiece.

After leading by one point at the break, Oregon extended its lead to 50-43 on a dunk by Dominic Artis and a layup by Richard Amardi, only to watch Arizona storm back to tie it at 50 with about 10 1/2 minutes to play. The Ducks scored the next six points and maintained the lead until McConnell drained a 3-pointer with 1:33 remaining to put the Wildcats ahead 62-60.

Young bricked an ill-advised 3-pointer on Oregon's ensuing possession and the Ducks then fouled Johnson on a long jumper and he made both free throws. The Ducks missed three free throws and committed a turnover in the final 30 seconds while Johnson sealed the win from the line.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Calliste scored 11 first-half points and Damyean Dotson had 10 points in the opening 20 minutes to help Oregon take a 38-37 lead into the break. ... Gordon, who entered shooting 44.9 percent from the foul line, is 9-of-30 from the stripe over his last six games. ... Hollis-Jefferson, who joined the starting lineup in place of Ashley, shot 6-of-10 from the field and contributed three assists, two blocks and a steal.
