Saint Louis (21-2, 8-0 Atlantic 10) broke open a close game late in the first half to remain unbeaten since Dec. 1. Jordair Jett chipped in 10 points and seven assists for the Billikens, who shot particularly well from 3-point range (6-of-13) and the foul line (15-of-17) to overcome 14 turnovers.

Ronald Roberts Jr. delivered 19 points, nine rebounds and four blocks for the Hawks (15-7, 5-3), who had a chance to defeat ranked teams in back-to-back games for the first time since 1966. Saint Joseph's, which topped then-No. 19 Massachusetts on Saturday, also received nine points and nine rebounds from Halil Kanacevic, although the senior forward also committed five of the team's 17 turnovers.

The Billikens led 22-19 before taking off on a 13-3 run over the final seven minutes of the first half. Austin McBroom began the surge with a 3-pointer and later added a pair of layups to help Saint Louis take command.

The Hawks never seriously threatened in the second half, although they did trail 53-43 with a little over six minutes to go before the Billikens ran off eight straight points. Mike McCall Jr. hit a 3-pointer and Loe knocked down two foul shots before making a trey of his own, creating a 61-43 advantage with about 4 1/2 minutes remaining.
