No. 21 Gonzaga 73, Saint Mary's 51: Przemek Karnowski had 15 points, nine rebounds and seven blocks to power the host Bulldogs past the Gaels.

Kevin Pangos added 15 points and eight rebounds for Gonzaga (13-2, 3-0 WCC), which outrebounded the Gaels 39-22. Angel Nunez added 13 points and eight rebounds off the bench and Kyle Dranginis had 12 points.

Beau Levesque led Saint Mary's (10-4, 1-1) with 12 points. Brad Waldow, who entered the game as the Gaels' leading scorer at 16.8 points on 64.2 percent shooting, was held to five points on an 1-of-8 performance.

Drew Barham hit a pair of 3-pointers during a 10-0 run that gave Gonzaga a 28-18 lead with about five minutes left in the first half. Levesque stopped the spree with a jumper but the Bulldogs finished the half on a 8-2 run for a 36-22 halftime lead.

Pangos had three 3-pointers and two assists and Nunez added a 3-pointer and a big dunk during a 25-7 run as the Bulldogs built a 68-38 lead with just under five minute left. The Gaels went more than eight minutes without a field goal during that span and didn't record their first assist until there was less than four minutes on the clock.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Gonzaga C Sam Dower Jr. (back) saw his first action since Dec. 21, playing 14 minutes off the bench but did not record a shot or rebound. ... The Gaels entered the game leading the WCC in 3-point shooting (43.3 percent) but missed their first 11 attempts and finished 1-of-12. ... The Gaels' first-half points (22) and total points were both season lows.
