Arkansas 89, High Point 48:
Bobby Portis had a game-high 16 points and nine boards while Coty Clarke contributed 11 points as the Razorbacks cruised past the visiting Panthers.

Michael Qualls provided a spark with 12 points and had several highlight dunks for Arkansas (10-2), which extended its win streak at home to 22 games dating back to last season. Moses Kingsley had 12 points, nine rebounds and two rejections while Anthlon Bell chipped in 11 points.

Devante Wallace had 13 points, including three 3-pointers for High Point (3-8), which dropped its sixth straight game and committed 25 turnovers. John Brown finished with nine points – half of his team-high scoring average entering Saturday – and five rebounds.

The long holiday break clearly had no effect on the Razorbacks, who dominated in the first half offensively and forced 14 turnovers en route to a 42-23 halftime lead. The Panthers were held to 9-of-24 shooting in a sloppy first half while Arkansas shot a 50-percent clip and had 10 players score before intermission.

The defensive pressure by Arkansas continued in the second half as the bench accounted for nine of the team's 17 steals on the night. The Razorbacks scored at least 70 points for the 13th consecutive game and the Panthers watched helplessly as Arkansas built an insurmountable lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Portis recorded his seventh straight double-figure scoring effort. ... The Razorbacks improved to 18-1 under coach Mike Anderson when forcing 20-plus turnovers. ... The Panthers fell to 0-3 against SEC teams under coach Scott Cherry.
