No. 19 Villanova 98, Saint Joseph's 68: JayVaughn Pinkston scored 27 points and James Bell contributed 25 points and 14 rebounds as the visiting Wildcats erupted in the second half to win the latest installment of the "Holy War."

Pinkston went 10-of-15 from the field and added eight rebounds, while Bell made half of his 10 3-pointer attempts for Villanova (9-0), which outscored its biggest rival 59-33 after intermission to take control of the game. Darrun Hilliard chipped in 14 points for the Wildcats while Ryan Arcidiacono had 11.

Four players scored in double figures for Saint Joseph's (4-4), led by Langston Galloway's 18 points. Galloway also had seven rebounds while Ronald Roberts Jr. notched 12 points and eight boards for the Hawks.

Pinkston led Villanova with 12 first-half points and Hilliard had nine as the Wildcats took a 39-35 lead into intermission. Hilliard opened the second half with a 3-pointer on Villanova's first possession and Pinkston added a 3 just over a minute later as part of an 8-0 run to open the period.

DeAndre Bembry's dunk got the Hawks within 47-38, but Bell hit a 3-pointer to ignite a 12-2 run that opened up a 19-point lead for the visitors. Bell hit another 3-pointer during the surge while Pinkston capped the run with a three-point play, and the Wildcats cruised down the stretch.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bembry finished with 17 points for the Hawks, making two of the team's four 3-pointers. However, Saint Joseph's finished just 4-of-20 from behind the arc. ... Villanova only committed five turnovers. ... Wildcats G Josh Hart contributed six points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block in a reserve role.
