Northwestern 63, Indiana-Purdue 61:
JerShon Cobb's basket with two seconds left rescued the host Wildcats in a hard-fought win over the Jaguars in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational.

Drew Crawford's 12 points - all in the second half - and game-high 10 rebounds led Northwestern (3-2), which rallied from a cold first half. Dave Sobolewski had 10 points, including eight in the second half, while Alex Olah and Cobb added eight points apiece.

Ian Chiles had a game-high 19 points on 8-for-12 shooting for IUPUI (1-4) while Mitch Patton added 18 points. Khufu Najee and Donovan Gibbs added 11 points apiece for the Jaguars.

The Jaguars hit six of their first seven shots to open the second half en route to a 49-38 lead - their biggest of the game - but the Wildcats scored 10 straight points with 3-pointers from Sobolewski and Tre Demps to pull within 49-48. The two teams traded slim leads the rest of the way with Patton hitting two free throws to tie it at 61 with 20 seconds left before Cobb hit his game-winner and Najee's desperation half-court heave bounced off the rim at the buzzer.

The Jaguars started out with an early 13-3 run for a 21-10 lead midway through the first half behind Chiles and Patton, who combined for 17 points in the half. Northwestern chipped away behind Sanjay Lumpkin's eight points to close the gap to 31-28 at the intermission.
