No. 3 Kansas 88, Towson 58:
Freshman Andrew Wiggins scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half as the Jayhawks won a Battle 4 Atlantis matchup at home.

Andrew White III scored 13 points off the bench and Wayne Selden Jr. had 12 points for Kansas (4-0), which shot 60 percent from the floor. Perry Ellis finished with 10 points and freshman Joel Embiid contributed eight points and a team-high eight boards.

Jerrelle Benimon led the Tigers (3-2) with 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. His teammates combined to shoot 13-for-44 from the floor.

Kansas took charge with an 11-0 run early on and then scored the final 18 points of the first half — seven by Wiggins on two dunks and a 3-pointer — to take a 49-16 lead into halftime. Benimon's free throws less than five minutes into the second half pulled Towson within 26 points before the Jayhawks took off again.

Selden buried a 3-pointer and had a layup before Naadir Tharpe nailed one from beyond the arc to account for an 8-0 run, and the lead grew to as many as 39 points down the stretch. Kansas, which had a 40-28 advantage on the boards, got 11 players into the scoring column.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
F Rafriel Guthrie added 15 points for Towson. ... Benimon was 9-for-16 from the floor while his fellow starters were 4-for-21. ... Kansas continues play in the tournament in the Bahamas on Thanksgiving against Wake Forest, while Towson hosts the Mainland Tournament portion of the event Nov. 29-30.
