South Florida 83, DePaul 73: Anthony Collins scored eight straight points during a game-deciding run late in the second half, and the host Bulls celebrated Senior Day by snapping a 10-game losing streak.

Toarlyn Fitzpatrick's 19 points led five Bulls in double digits. Collins and Victor Rudd added 16 apiece, and Martino Brock and Jawanza Poland had 13 and 11, respectively, for South Florida (11-17, 2-14 Big East), which posted its highest point total of the conference season.

Cleveland Melvin and Brandon Young each scored 18 for the Blue Demons (11-18, 2-14). Melvin climbed to 13th on DePaul's career scoring list in the process.

USF led for the entire first half, enjoying its greatest margin at 33-22. DePaul went on an 11-2 run to get back into the game and took its first lead 60-58 on a pair of free throws by Jamee Crockett with 8:10 remaining.

DePaul still led 62-60 when South Florida erupted with 10 straight points as part of a 15-2 run to grab a 75-64 lead. Collins had eight of those 10 and Rudd made six free throws in the final minute to secure the victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: USF had lost the prior seven meetings with the Blue Demons. ... DePaul went 4-of-13 from 3-point range, and now has made at least one trifecta in 609 consecutive games - a streak that dates to 1993. ... USF held its senior day festivities prior to tip-off even though its final home game isn't until March 6. Shaun Noriega was not among the seniors honored prior to tip-off. He's eligible for a medical hardship waiver after a foot injury ended the guard's season in early December.
