UCLA 74, No. 11 Arizona 69: Shabazz Muhammad scored 18 points, the final two on free throws with nine seconds remaining, and the host Bruins remain tied atop the Pac-12 standings with Oregon.

Kyle Anderson scored 15 of his 17 points in the opening half for UCLA (22-7, 12-4 Pac-12), Larry Drew II matched his season high with 14 points and distributed nine assists and David Wear added 10 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

Grant Jerrett shot 4-for-5 from 3-point range and scored 14 points to lead Arizona (23-6, 11-6). Mark Lyons scored 11 of his 13 points in the opening half, Kevin Parrom scored 11 points and Nick Johnson finished with 10 for the Wildcats.

UCLA used a 12-0 run to take a 52-38 lead with 15:26 remaining. Jerrett sank back-to-back 3-pointers to cut the deficit to three with 1:11 left.

Following a turnover by Drew, Lyons tried a runner in the lane but missed and Muhammad secured the rebound with nine seconds left. He then stepped to the free-throw line and made both to clinch the win.

GAME NOTEBOOK: UCLA has games remaining next week at Washington State and Washington. Oregon, which won its only meeting against the Bruins this season, travels to Colorado and Utah. … UCLA junior forward Travis Wear, the team’s third-leading scorer and second-leading rebounder, returned after missing two games with a sprained right foot. He finished with six points in 17 minutes. … A crowd of 13,727 was in attendance, the largest ever at Pauley Pavilion.
