No. 3 Gonzaga 85, Santa Clara 42: Elias Harris scored 17 points as the Bulldogs rolled to their ninth straight victory and remained unbeaten in West Coast Conference play.

Gonzaga (26-2, 13-0 WCC) connected on 57 percent of its field-goal attempts and got points from 11 different players on the way to notching its biggest win over Santa Clara ever. The Zags, who have won 19 games by 10 or more points, also got 14 points from Kelly Olynyk before resting their starters for most of the second half.

Santa Clara (19-9, 7-6) scored the game's first basket but Gonzaga scored the next 15 points to take control. Harris had 15 as Gonzaga took a 44-15 lead into the break, the fewest points the Broncos have scored in a half all season.

Things didn't get any better in the second half as Santa Clara scored just four points in the first eight minutes while watching Gonzaga build as big as a 46-point lead.

The Broncos, who saw their two-game win streak come to an end, were led by Brandon Clark with 14 points. None of the Santa Clara starters reached double figures. Gonzaga also dominated the boards, outrebounding Santa Clara 41-20.

Game notebook: Santa Clara's Kevin Foster had three fouls in the first half. The Broncos' leading scorer finished with just four points, 14 shy of his average. ... Broncos' forward John McArthur was called for a flagrant foul in the second half after hammering Guy Landry Edi on the way to the basket. ... It was the fewest points Santa Clara has scored in coach Kerry Keating's six years.
