Allen Crabbe scored 23 points and Justin Cobbs added 22 as the Bears rallied from a 15-point second-half deficit to snap the visiting Trojans’ four-game win streak.

California (16-9, 8-5 Pac-12) trailed by 10 with 6:15 to play before Crabbe scored nine points during a 19-3 run to help the Bears win for the fifth time in their last six games. Crabbe briefly left the game early in the second half after being shoved with two hands by coach Mike Montgomery following a heated exchange.

J.T. Terrell scored 17 points and Jio Fontan and Byron Wesley had 16 apiece for the Trojans (12-14, 7-6), who were aiming to win five straight games for the first time since 2009. Wesley was 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

The Bears were only 6-of-21 from 3-point range, but Crabbe hit back-to-back shots from beyond the arc to put the Bears ahead 68-64 with 2:08 remaining. Crabbe, the reigning Pac-12 Player of the Week, has scored 70 points while shooting 26-of-47 (55.3 percent) over the last three games.

Terrell hit one of his three 3-pointers to cap a 13-0 run and put USC ahead 47-32 with 16:01 to play, but California quickly became more physical and pulled within seven with 11 minutes remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bears' Richard Solomon had 14 points and seven rebounds, while Crabbe grabbed a team-high 10 boards. ... USC will have a week off before facing crosstown rival UCLA at the Galen Center on Feb. 24. … The Trojans fell to 9-2 when leading at halftime.
