No. 1 Indiana 81, No. 10 Ohio State 68: Victor Oladipo scored a career-high 26 points as the Hoosiers rebounded from a surprising loss earlier in the week with a road win over the Buckeyes.

Cody Zeller added 24 points while Christian Watford tallied 20 points for Indiana (21-3, 9-2 Big Ten), which won its first road game against a ranked opponent since Jan. 13, 2002, after Thursday’s stunning two-point loss at Illinois.

Deshaun Thomas finished with 26 points for Ohio State (17-6, 7-4), which had not lost consecutive games over the last 121 contests – the longest such streak in the country.

A layup from Watford gave the Hoosiers a lead they did not relinquish with 7:21 left in the first half, but Indiana did not pull away until the second half when Oladipo scored seven points during a 19-7 run that turned a 43-39 advantage into a 16-point cushion with 9:30 remaining.

Ohio State could get no closer than eight points after that as the Hoosiers shot 53.1 percent from the floor – the highest mark allowed by the Buckeyes this season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Indiana won for the first time in its last three tries against Ohio State as the top-ranked team in the country. The Buckeyes, who are 9-10 all-time against No. 1 opponents, defeated a top-ranked Hoosier team in 1983 and 1993. …The 81 points surrendered by Ohio State was its most since allowing 84 in a win over Purdue last season. … The Hoosiers continued their hot shooting from the free-throw line, going 22-of-28 Sunday. Over the last four games, they are 76-of-87 (87.4 percent).
