North Carolina State 58, Clemson 57: Scott Wood hit a 3-pointer with one second remaining and the visiting Wolfpack halted a three-game losing streak.

Richard Howell led the Wolfpack with 16 points and 11 rebounds and Brown added 15 points in his return from an ankle injury. Leslie added 12 points and 10 rebounds for North Carolina State, which won for the first time since Jan. 26.

Freshman Jordan Roper scored a career-high 17 points for Clemson (12-11, 4-7), but went scoreless in the final 14:58. K.J. McDaniels added 12 points for the Tigers, who dropped their third straight game.

Before Wood's game-winner, North Carolina State's only other lead was 45-44 on a Howell layup with 9:22 that capped a 10-2 run. Clemson held a four-point lead on a layup by Devin Booker with 2:23 remaining but Leslie converted a layup with 1:39 left and Brown hit two free throws with 14 seconds to play.

Wood tied the school record for career starts (125) that had been held by Julius Hodge from 2002-05. ... Roper made his fifth career start, first in ACC play and first since scoring 13 points on Jan. 1 against the Citadel.
