Aaron Cosby returned from a one-game absence to lead all scorers with a career-high 25 points for the Pirates (13-11, 2-9). Seton Hall, which had only nine players in uniform due to injuries, has lost five straight games.

The Huskies trailed 35-34 at the break and fell behind 43-36 after Seton Hall scored eight unanswered points early in the second half, but Connecticut used full-court pressure to fluster the shorthanded Pirates and pull even at 46 with 11:45 left.

Napier, who recorded five of Connecticut’s nine steals over the final 20 minutes, gave the Huskies the lead for good on a steal and layup less than a minute later and scored 11 points during a 24-8 run that gave the Huskies a 70-54 advantage with 2:52 remaining. Seton Hall could get no closer than nine points the rest of the way.
