Markel Brown’s layup with 1 second left in overtime gave the host Cowboys a victory over the Bears.

With the game tied at 67, Oklahoma State's Mike Cobbins blocked a layup attempt by Baylor’s A.J. Walton with 5 seconds left. Brown grabbed the ball and dribbled down the court for the game-winning shot.

Marcus Smart scored a team-high 14 points for Oklahoma State (16-5, 6-3 Big 12), which won its fourth straight and improved to 11-1 at home. Brown had 13 points, Le’Bryan Nash added 10 and Cobbins grabbed 13 rebounds.

Pierre Jackson scored a game-high 24 points for Baylor (14-8, 5-4), which lost its third straight game. Cory Jefferson registered his seventh double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Isaiah Austin grabbed 12 rebounds for the Bears, who beat the Cowboys 64-54 on Jan. 21 in Waco.

The Cowboys produced a 13-3 run for a 24-22 lead at halftime. With 6.5 seconds remaining in regulation, Jackson made two free throws to tie the game at 59 before Brown missed a 3-point attempt with 1 second left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jackson, who came in leading the Big 12 in scoring (19.1), has scored in double figures in 29 consecutive games. … Baylor was denied in its bid for its first four-game winning streak in the series. … Oklahoma State was 3-for-21 shooting from 3-point range, while Baylor was 8-for-27 from beyond the arc.
