Melvin Ejim and Chris Babb each added 12 points for Iowa State (16-6, 6-3 Big 12), which won its 20th straight game overall at Hilton Coliseum and owns the country’s seventh-longest home winning streak.

Andrew Fitzgerald finished with 12 points before fouling out for Oklahoma (14-7, 5-4), which allowed a season high in points and has lost four of six games.

The Cyclones, who missed their first 13 3-point attempts and shot a season-worst 4-of-24 beyond the arc in Saturday’s win over Baylor, connected on their first six 3-point attempts to take control early in this contest. Clyburn scored six straight points late in the half – including a dunk that brought the crowd to its feet – helping Iowa State take a 44-31 lead at intermission.

While Iowa State’s offensive surge continued after the break, the defense held Oklahoma without a field goal over the first 5:44 of the second half and the Cyclones used a 14-2 run to stretch the margin to 58-33.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Iowa State hit eight 3-pointers before the break – a season high for any half. All five starters and six players overall hit at least one 3-pointer. … Oklahoma leading scorer Romero Osby battled constant double teams and was held to a season-low six points on 2-of-10 shooting. … The Cyclones shot 11-of-27 beyond the arc, the 11th time this season they have knocked down at least 10 3-pointers.
