Victor Oladipo scored 19 points and freshman Yogi Ferrell added 15 to lead the host Hoosiers to an easy victory.

Will Sheehey scored 12 points off the bench while Christian Watford added 10 points and nine rebounds for Indiana (17-2, 5-1 Big Ten), which was 10-for-17 from the field in the second half. Preseason All-American Cody Zeller scored a career-low two points and grabbed eight rebounds.

D.J. Newbill scored 18 points and Jermaine Marshall had 12 for Penn State (8-11, 0-7), which has lost seven straight by an average of 14.7 points and has dropped 12 consecutive conference road games. The Nittany Lions were 2-for-15 from 3-point range.

A 10-2 run, highlighted by a pair of 3-pointers by Sheehey, gave Indiana a 31-16 lead en route to a 33-19 advantage at the break. Marshall scored nine points on 4-for-8 shooting, while his teammates were a combined 4-for-19 prior to intermission.

The Hoosiers exploded for an 8-0 run to open the second half with 3-pointers by Ferrell and Jordan Hulls coming in the first 29 seconds. Indiana led by as many as 24 while not allowing the margin to slip below 17 en route to their eighth win in their last nine games.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Oladipo has made 12 of his last 14 shots from 3-point range. ... Indiana has won 33 of the 42 meetings, including 17 of 19 in Bloomington. ... The Hoosiers have allowed 36 points in the first half of their last two games combined.
