GAME NOTEBOOK: Coming off a career-best 21-point effort in a win over Georgia, Jalen Steele shot just 2-for-8 from the field for five points against the Tide. … Mississippi State had been allowing opponents to score 50.2 points per game at home, but Alabama's 75 points were easily a season-high allowed at Starkville. … The Crimson Tide return home for a Saturday date with Texas A&M, a contest that will be No. 2,500 in the program's history. The Bulldogs hit the road to face Tennessee on Saturday.
