No. 4 Louisville 64, South Florida 38: Peyton Siva scored 17 points as the host Cardinals pounded the Bulls to win their 10th straight game.

Gorgui Dieng notched his third straight double-double since returning to the starting lineup following a wrist injury with 12 points and 16 rebounds for Louisville (15-1, 3-0 Big East), which grabbed 19 offensive boards and outrebounded South Florida 49-24.

Victor Rudd tallied 10 points and eight rebounds to pace South Florida (9-6, 0-3), which shot a season-low 26.7 percent from the field.

The Cardinals jumped all over the Bulls from the onset, holding South Florida to a single field goal over the first 9:23 to race out to a 20-3 lead. In addition to seven first-half steals, Louisville used 12 offensive rebounds to collect 12 second-chance points en route to 30-9 rebounding advantage in the opening 20 minutes.

Louisville took a commanding 38-15 lead at the break and widened the margin to as much as 30 points after both teams struggled to open the second half. A late jumper by Rudd helped South Florida avoid matching its worst offensive output in school history.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Louisville's Chane Behanan, who was expected to miss this game because of a sprained ankle, grabbed all 12 of his rebounds in the first half. … Louisville generated as many steals (12) as South Florida made field goals. … On his final basket of a 13-point first half, Siva became the 64th player in school history to score 1,000 career points; only North Carolina has more.
