: C.J. Leslie scored 25 points and Richard Howell had 16 points and 18 rebounds as the host Wolfpack handed the top-ranked Blue Devils their first loss of the season.

Lorenzo Brown had 12 points and a career high-tying 13 assists for North Carolina State (14-2, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), which has won 10 straight – its longest run since the 1988-89 season. Scott Wood chipped in 14 points and T.J. Warren added 10.

Duke (15-1, 2-1), which lost sharpshooting forward Ryan Kelly to a foot injury Tuesday against Clemson, saw star guard Seth Curry leave due to a left foot injury with 3:15 remaining. He did not return, finishing with 22 points. Mason Plumlee added 15 points and 11 boards.

A dunk by Plumlee gave the Blue Devils an eight-point lead with 8:53 left in the first half. Wood hit his third 3-pointer of the half to start a 14-2 run and Warren's jumper in the waning seconds of the half gave the Wolfpack a lead they would not relinquish.

Duke got within 58-57 on a 3-pointer from Curry midway through the second half. Leslie responded with six straight points and a Rodney Purvis three-point play made it 67-57 with 7:44 left. Curry's fifth 3-pointer at the 3:49 mark cut North Carolina State’s lead to four, but he watched from the bench as the Wolfpack sealed their first win against a top-ranked team since defeating the Blue Devils at home on Feb. 15, 2004.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The already-thin Blue Devils also saw F Amile Jefferson foul out with 8:07 left and guards Quinn Cook and Tyler Thornton foul out in the final minute. ... North Carolina State improved to 2-3 at PNC Arena when hosting a top-ranked Duke team. ... The Wolfpack are 22-2 when Wood hits at least three 3-pointers.
