C.J. Wilcox scored 19 points to reach 1,000 for his career and the visiting Huskies improved to 2-0 in conference play with an impressive win over the Bears.

Washington (10-5, 2-0 Pac-12) led 34-20 at halftime and maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half. Aziz N'Diaye had 12 points and 12 rebounds, and freshman Andrew Andrews scored 12 points off the bench.

The Huskies held California’s top two scorers - Allen Crabbe and Justin Cobbs – to a total of 18 points on 7-of-27 shooting. David Kravish scored 14 points to lead the Bears (9-6, 1-2). Crabbe, who entered the game leading the Pac-12 in scoring at 21.4 points, finished with nine.

The game was tied at 18 with 7:18 left in the first half before Washington took control by closing the half on a 16-2 run. The Huskies won despite shooting 36.8 percent from the field, including 2-of-11 (18.2 percent) from 3-point range.

Wilcox, who became the 37th player to reach 1,000 career points in school history, tied a season high with eight rebounds. Washington had a season-high 48 rebounds and outrebounded Cal by 15.

GAME NOTEBOOK: California senior C Robert Thurman made his first career start and finished with four points. … N'Diaye recorded his 12th career double-double, and the Huskies improved to 10-2 in games when he has at least 10 rebounds and 10 points. … The game marked the first time Crabbe hasn’t scored in double-figures since a 60-46 win at Utah last February, when he had three points.
