Freshman Ben McLemore chipped in 13 points while Jeff Withey contributed nine blocked shots and 11 rebounds as Kansas (12-1) recorded its 10th straight victory and won its 64th straight non-conference game at Allen Fieldhouse.

Khalif Wyatt scored 17 of his 26 points in the second half for Temple (10-3), which shot 30.2 percent and failed to knock off a second Top-10 team this season. Will Cummings and Anthony Lee added 11 points apiece as the Owls had just three baskets in the final 14:48.

Temple took its first lead with 14:48 remaining in the second half as Wyatt scored 11 straight points and hit a 3-pointer that made it 42-41. Despite going nearly seven minutes between baskets, the Owls managed to maintain their slim lead and even took a 57-54 edge on Cummings' uncontested 3-pointer with 5:02 remaining.

However, Cummings' 3-pointer was Temple's final basket and the Jayhawks took the lead for good when McLemore stole the ball from Lee and drove in for a uncontested dunk with 2:42 remaining. Young followed with four free throws and Releford drilled an open 3-pointer with 37 seconds to play to seal the win.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Young's other 16-point game was against San Jose State on Nov. 26. He also matched a career-best with 10 rebounds. ... The Jayhawks are 12-1 for the third time in four seasons ... The Owls have not knocked off two top-10 teams since 2002-03.
