Laurent Rivard scored a season-high 19 points and Wesley Saunders had 18 as the visiting Crimson outlasted the Bears.

Harvard (7-4) made six straight free throws in the final 73 seconds while California committed two turnovers, the last coming with 11 seconds left and the Crimson ahead by three points. Freshman Siyani Chambers chipped in seven points and a season-high nine assists for Harvard, which had 10 3-pointers to the Bears' zero.

Allen Crabbe scored 17 of his 27 points after halftime to help Cal (8-4) rally before it faltered in the final minute. Justin Cobbs had 15 points and David Kravish added 12.

Harvard led by seven points at halftime and took a 46-37 lead with 12:24 remaining on a Saunders jumper. The Bears responded with nine straight points, tying it on Crabbe's three-point play at the 9:49 mark and setting up a tight stretch run.

Crabbe's two free throws and Kravish's layup with 1:50 left gave Cal its only lead of the second half at 62-61. With the shot clock running down, Saunders was fouled and hit both free throws with 1:13 remaining to put the Crimson ahead for good. Cobbs committed two turnovers in the final 56 seconds and Chambers and Rivard iced it at the line.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Harvard was 10-for-27 (37 percent) from beyond the arc; Cal was 0-for-6. ... The Crimson are 3-18 all-time against Pac-12 teams. ... The teams combined to make 25-of-28 free throws.
