Kamari Murphy added 12 points and Marcus Smart and Markel Brown scored 11 apiece to pace Oklahoma State (10-1), which raced out to an early 20-point lead and was never threatened.

Jud Dillard scored 18 points and Jeremiah Samarrippas added 11 for the Golden Eagles (6-6), who were playing the fourth of a five-game road trip.

Forte connected on 6 of 11 attempts from long range and sparked an early burst that turned the game into a rout. He drilled back-to-back 3-pointers and scored eight points in a 12-0 run as the Cowboys opened a 26-6 lead less than 10 minutes into the game.

Smart had four of Oklahoma State's 11 steals and the Cowboys forced 20 turnovers in holding their fifth opponent - and fourth in five games - under 50 points.
