Trey Burke scored a game-high 19 points and dished out five assists as the Wolverines shook off a slow start to roll over the visiting Bearcats.

Nik Stauskas chipped in with 12 points, all on 3-pointers, and Tim Hardaway Jr. added nine for Michigan (10-0), off to its best start since 1988-89. The 39 points were a season low against the Wolverines and Binghamton scored just four in the last 12:45 of the first half.

The Bearcats jumped out to a 10-8 lead before Michigan raised its intensity on defense and scored 19 of the next 21 points to take control. Burke scored 10, including a 3-pointer in the final seconds, as the Wolverines built a 34-14 lead at intermission.

Freshman Jordan Reed registered 11 points and eight rebounds to lead Binghamton (2-9), which has lost five straight. The Bearcats are 0-6 on the road.

Michigan did not commit a foul for the first 12:57 of the game and finished with just four. Binghamton did not attempt a free throw until there was 4:41 remaining in the contest and were 0-of-3 overall. The Wolverines had seven turnovers, committing under 10 for the seventh time this season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Michigan, which also received six points and 10 rebounds from Mitch McGary off the bench, has won 23 of its last 24 games at home. … Binghamton is 0-9 against ranked teams since going Division I. … The Wolverines were 10-of-30 from 3-point range.
