No. 4 Syracuse 108, Monmouth 56: Michael Carter-Williams led the way with 15 points, a career-high 16 assists, five steals and four blocks and seven Orange players scored in double-digits - including all five starters - in the rout of the visiting Hawks.

Brandon Triche added a game-high 18 points and eight assists, while C.J. Fair registered his second straight double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Orange (8-0), who shot 51.2 percent from the field and 36.7 from 3-point range.

Ed Waite led Monmouth (5-5) with 10 points as the Hawks shot 31.8 percent and turned the ball over 21 times.

A Carter-Williams deep ball capped a 7-0 Syracuse run to give the Orange a 10-5 lead 4:31 into regulation. A Fair dunk and James Southerland's 3-point play highlighted an 11-0 run later in the half as Syracuse took a 57-28 lead into halftime.

A Rakeem Christmas dunk sparked another 13-0 spurt to start the second half as the Orange lead ballooned to 70-28 with 18:05 left.
