: Michael Carter-Williams led the way with 15 points, a career-high 16 assists, five steals and four blocks and seven Orange players scored in double-digits - including all five starters - in the rout of the visiting Hawks.

Brandon Triche added a game-high 18 points and eight assists, while C.J. Fair registered his second straight double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Orange (8-0), who shot 51.2 percent from the field and 36.7 from 3-point range.

Ed Waite led Monmouth (5-5) with 10 points as the Hawks shot 31.8 percent and turned the ball over 21 times.

A Carter-Williams deep ball capped a 7-0 Syracuse run to give the Orange a 10-5 lead 4:31 into regulation. A Fair dunk and James Southerland's 3-point play highlighted an 11-0 run later in the half as Syracuse took a 57-28 lead into halftime.

A Rakeem Christmas dunk sparked another 13-0 spurt to start the second half as the Orange lead ballooned to 70-28 with 18:05 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The 108 Syracuse points are the program's most since its historic 127-117 six overtime win over UConn on March 12, 2009. ... The Orange extended their nation-leading home-court winning streak to 28 games and their non-conference unbeaten streak to 48. ... Redshirt freshman Trevor Cooney (15 points), Southerland (14), Christmas (11) and freshman DaJuan Coleman (11) also scored in double digits for Syracuse. ... The Orange outrebounded Monmouth 58-29.
