No. 11 Missouri 68, Tennessee State 38: Laurence Bowers and Alex Oriakhi notched double-doubles to help the host Tigers pull away after a close first half.

Bowers collected 18 points and 10 rebounds and Oriakhi added 15 points and 10 boards for Missouri (8-1), which led just 23-20 at halftime but opened the second half on a 14-3 run to open it up.

The loss snapped a three-game win streak for Tennessee State (4-6), which shot 23.8 percent from the field. Robert Covington scored 12 points to lead Tennessee State and Jordan Cyphers added 11 off the bench.

Missouri also had a 12-0 run in the second half as it pulled away following a sluggish start against an Ohio Valley Conference opponent for the second consecutive game. The Tigers also had a tough time putting away Southeast Missouri State on Tuesday.

Freshman Stefan Jankovic came off the bench to score 14 points and grab five rebounds - all in the second half - for Missouri, which has won four straight.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Missouri has won 71 consecutive home games against non-conference opponents dating to a loss to Sam Houston State in the 2005 NIT Season Tip-Off. … Both teams lead their conferences in rebounding margin, but Missouri dominated the boards 46-23 on Saturday. … Missouri expects to have Oregon transfer Jabari Brown in uniform for the first time for its next game Dec. 17 against South Carolina State.
