Arkansas 81, Oklahoma 78: Marshawn Powell scored a career-high 33 points and BJ Young hit a 10-foot jumper with 14.7 seconds remaining to lift the Razorbacks to a thrilling win over the visiting Sooners.

Powell, who was 11-of-17 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range, sealed the win for Arkansas (4-3) with a pair of free throws with less than four seconds remaining. Powell drained seven of his eight foul shots for the game. A desperation heave from halfcourt was off the mark as Oklahoma (6-2) had its late rally fall short.

Young, who was held to 10 points, hit a tough runner in the lane to give the Razorbacks the lead for good after Oklahoma's Steven Pledger hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final 43 seconds, the last with 20 seconds remaining to give the Sooners a 78-77 lead before Young's heroics.

Arkansas shot 52.6 percent from the field and made 9-of-22 from 3-point range as the Razorbacks snapped a three-game losing streak.

Oklahoma, which shot a season-best 55.4 percent and made six of its last eight 3-point attempts, was led by Romero Osby's 22 points. Amath M'Baye tallied 14 and Pledger added 12.

NOTEBOOK: The home team has won the last six meetings in this series. ... Arkansas has won 30 straight at Bud Walton Arena against unranked teams. ... The Razorbacks, who have lost to Wisconsin and Syracuse already this season, travel to No. 3 Michigan on Saturday.
