Texas Christian 61, Southern Utah 52: Kyan Anderson scored 21 points as the host Horned Frogs held off the Thunderbirds.

Devonta Abron added 17 points for TCU (6-2), which trailed 38-37 with 10:38 remaining before taking control.

TCU outscored Southern Utah 24-14 in the final 11 minutes. The Horned Frogs shot 48.9 percent for the night and converted 15 of their 21 free-throw attempts.

Damon Heuir led Southern Utah (1-5) with 25 points, going 9-of-12 from the free-throw line.

Jayson Cheesman grabbed 13 rebounds for the Thunderbirds. Adrick McKinney finished with seven boards for TCU.
