OREGON STATE 86, WASHINGTON 84:
Jared Cunningham scored the go-ahead basket with 31.8 seconds left as the Beavers upset the Huskies in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament.

Devon Collier scored 19 points and Cunningham had 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as ninth-seeded Oregon State (19-13) recovered after blowing a 15-point second-half lead.

Tony Wroten scored a career-high 29 points but missed four straight late free throws in a 10-second span with the Huskies trailing by one point. Washington (21-10) became the first No. 1 seed to lose its first game in the Pac-12 tournament since it was expanded in 2007.

C.J. Wilcox scored 16 points, Terrence Ross had 15 points and Abdul Gaddy scores 13 for the Huskies, who will now sweat out Selection Sunday to see if they receive an at-large bid into the NCAA tournament.

Oregon State advances to meet the winner of the quarterfinal contest between Arizona and UCLA.

Washington led 83-79 before Ahmad Starks drained a 3-pointer to make it a one-point game before Cunningham scored on a driving basket.
Wroten missed two free throws with 8.7 seconds as Washington was just 12-of-26 from the free-throw line.

Oregon State outscored Washington 24-9 over the final six-plus minutes of the first half to take a 46-33 lead. Starks had eight points -- including two 3-pointers – and Joe Burton scored six points during the surge.

Washington trailed by 15 points in the first minute of the second half and was down by 14 before erupting on a 22-3 run to take a 59-54 lead with 10:41 remaining. Gaddy had eight points during the spurt.

The Huskies never trailed again until Cunningham’s go-ahead hoop.

Burton added 14 points and 10 rebounds, Starks scored 14 points and Eric Moreland added 13 points for the Beavers.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Oregon State guard Roberto Nelson left the game in the first half with a sprained left thumb and briefly returned late in the game … The Huskies had a 44-37 edge on the boards … Cunningham had scored in double figures in 23 of the last 24 games … Washington drops to 4-8 when trailing at halftime.
