The Trojans used a 14-2 run to cut the Cougars’ lead to three with 35 seconds left, but Greg Allen missed two 3-pointers and Washington State’s Reggie Moore secured the win with two free throws.

Maurice Jones scored 11 points for the injury-depleted Trojans, who are down to six scholarship players.

Byron Wesley, who scored a combined 45 points in his last two games, made one of his seven shots and finished with five points against the Cougars.

Washington State won despite going the final 9:09 without a field goal.
