Miami 77, Boston College 56: Kenny Kadji and Durand Scott each had 14 points and the Hurricanes kept their hopes of an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament alive by making 12 3-pointers to defeat the visiting Eagles.

The Hurricanes, who set a team record for ACC wins in a season, can earn the fourth seed and a first-round bye in the ACC tournament if both North Carolina State and Virginia lose Sunday. Boston College (9-21, 4-12) is currently tied for 10th.

Kadji, who had his 14-game streak of double-figure scoring games snapped Wednesday, made three 3-pointers. Malcolm Grant added 12 points -- all on 3-pointers -- for the Hurricanes (18-11, 9-7 ACC).

Miami led by just two points with a little over 11 minutes left in the first half, but put together a 21-3 run and took a comfortable 46-25 lead at halftime. Scott’s long 3-pointer at the buzzer was the Hurricanes’ ninth from beyond the arc in the opening 20 minutes.

Matt Humphrey led Boston College with 16 points.
