NO. 20 UNLV 68, AIR FORCE 58: Chace Stanback had 13 of his game-high 21 points in the first half as UNLV cruised to an easy victory over the Falcons.

Anthony Marshall finished with 15 points and Mike Moser added seven points and a game-high 11 rebounds for the Rebels (24-6, 8-4 MWC), who won their 15th straight game at Thomas & Mack Center.

UNLV can earn at least a share of the regular-season title if it wins its final two games and first-place New Mexico drops one of its final three. The Rebels are a half-game back of the Lobos, who they split the season series with.

The Rebels took control of this one early, opening the game with an 18-4 run as Air Force (13-13, 3-9 MWC) misfired on 11 of its first 13 attempts, including a pair of missed free throws. The lead swelled to as many as 20 before UNLV took a 37-23 advantage into halftime.

Air Force couldn’t draw closer than 10 the rest of the way.

Michael Lyons had a team-high 18 points and seven rebounds for Air Force, which lost its second straight game and fell to 1-18 all-time at UNLV. Kyle Green went 5-of-7 on 3-point attempts and finished with 17 points off the bench.

The Falcons scored less than 60 points for the eighth time in nine road games and shot 42 percent from the field.

Justin Hawkins had 11 points for UNLV, which held a 36-26 advantage on the boards.

GAME NOTEBOOK: UNLV improved to 28-8 in the all-time series … The Rebels converted 9-of-19 3-point attempts … the two teams combined for 42 turnovers … Air Force fell to 2-2 under interim coach Dave Pilipovich.
