ARKANSAS 77, AUBURN 71: Rickey Scott scored 22 points, and the visiting Razorbacks overcame a 16-point deficit to down the Tigers.

The victory ends a three-game losing streak for Arkansas (18-11, 6-8 SEC). Mardracus Wade added 18 points for the Razorbacks, who spent most of the day trailing by double digits before roaring back in the final 10 minutes.

BJ Young’s layup with 2:05 to go pushed the Razorbacks ahead to stay, 71-70. Arkansas hit 4-for-6 from the free-throw line in the final 1:03.

Auburn (14-14, 4-10 SEC) dominated the opening minutes, using a 20-6 run to build a 27-11 lead on Frankie Sullivan’s 3-pointer with 9:27 left in the first half.

The Razorbacks crawled within 41-34 at halftime, only to see the Tigers run out to a double-digit lead before Arkansas played its way back into the game. Julysses Nobles’ 3-pointer with 5:52 to go gave the Razorbacks their first lead since the early minutes, 63-62.

Scott shot 9-for-13 from the field and hit two 3-pointers. Wade added three 3-pointers as Arkansas show 54.2 percent from the field.

Sullivan and Allen Payne each scored 15 points to lead Auburn.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Auburn also shot well, finishing at 49.1 percent. But the Tigers struggled at the free-throw line, going 13-for-24 (54.2 percent) while the Razorbacks shot 18-for-23 (78.3 percent). … The Tigers have lost five of their past six. … The Razorbacks moved into a tie with Mississippi for eighth in the SEC. The two teams play Tuesday in Oxford.
