NO. 1 KENTUCKY 73, MISSISSIPPI STATE 64: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 12 of his 18 points in the second half and had 10 rebounds as the visiting Wildcats came back from a 13-point halftime deficit to clinch a share of first place in the Southeastern Conference.

Kidd-Gilchrist sparked a 15-2 run by which Kentucky turned a 60-53 deficit into a 68-62 lead with 2:04 remaining.

The Wildcats (27-1, 13-0) also got 12 points from Darius Miller, all in the second half, including three 3-pointers. Anthony Davis added 13 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks, while Doron Lamb and Terrence Jones each scored 11.

It was Kentucky's 19th consecutive win.

Mississippi State (19-9, 6-7) got 21 points and seven assists from Dee Bost, who scored 16 in the first half to help the Bulldogs take a 41-28 halftime advantage. Jalen Steele and Arnett Moultrie both scored 13, with Moultrie grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Mississippi State’s big Renardo Sidney picked up his fourth personal foul with 10:02 remaining and the Bulldogs leading by four. ... Kentucky’s Marquis Teague got his fourth (one on a technical foul) with 8:08 remaining, but Miller came in and scored 12 points. … The Wildcats outrebounded the Bulldogs 32-25 and picked up 28 points in the paint. . . . Kentucky clinched at least a share of its 55th conference championship.
