CINCINNATI 62, SETON HALL 57: Dion Dixon scored 20 points and added five rebounds and five assists to spark the Bearcats to their second straight win.

The senior guard also made eight of 10 from the free throw line, including one with 28 seconds left that enabled Cincinnati to turn back a frantic Seton Hall comeback.

Cincinnati (19-8, 9-5 Big East) got 13 points from Cashmere Wright and 12 points and seven rebounds from JaQuon Parker.

Seton Hall (18-9, 7-8 Big East) got 15 points each from Jordan Theodore and Fuquan Edwin, while Herb Pope had 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

Cincinnati came out of the gate to take a quick 10-0 lead and held an 18-4 advantage with 11:48 remaining. The Bearcats went on to lead 37-28 at halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The win gave Cincinnati nine conference wins for only the second time since joining the Big East... Cincinnati now leads the overall series 7-6... Seton Hall was horrible from 3-point range (four of 20), but scored 34 points in the paint.
