STANFORD 87, OREGON STATE 82: Chasson Randle tied his career high with 24 points and made six of his seven 3-point attempts as Stanford held off a late rally by visiting Oregon State and completed a season sweep of the Beavers.

Aaron Bright had 20 points and seven assists for Stanford (18-8, 8-6 Pac-12), which beat Oregon State 103-101 in quadruple overtime on Jan. 7.

Oregon State (15-11, 5-9 Pac-12) was outrebounded 33-20 and lost its third straight game. The Beavers have won just once in the past 19 years at Maples Pavilion.

Randle hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give Stanford a 64-53 lead with 8:18 remaining, but the Beavers hit four 3-pointers in the final 1:28 to close the gap.

Angus Brandt’s 3-pointer with 15 seconds left cut Stanford’s lead to 85-82, but Anthony Brown answered by making two of his final four free-throw attempts to secure the win.

Jared Cunningham scored 22 points and Roberto Nelson scored 15 of his 19 points in the first half for the Beavers, who fell to 2-6 in conference road games.

Facing the worst defensive team in the Pac-12, Stanford shot 27 of 51 (52.9 percent) from the field, including 12 of 22 (54.5 percent) from beyond the arc. Dwight Powell tallied nine points and nine rebounds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Stanford improved to 13-2 at Maples Pavilion and 64-18 at home since the start of the 2007-08 season. … Josh Owens had five rebounds, giving him 500 for his career. … Randle was 4 of 5 from beyond the arc last Sunday against Southern California, and he’s 13 of 17 over his last three games. … Oregon State's Devon Collier had 13 points to extend his streak of scoring in double figures to 11. ... The Beavers, who entered the game averaging a league-best 80.4 points, shot 26 of 56 (46.4 percent) from the field.
