WASHINGTON STATE 83, OREGON STATE 73: Brock Motum had 24 points for his fourth consecutive 20-point outing and Reggie Moore recorded a season-high 11 assists as Washington State completed a season sweep of Oregon State with an impressive road victory.

D.J. Shelton had a career-high 14 points and Marcus Capers added 12 points as Washington State (13-11, 5-7 Pac-12) won for the first time in six conference road games.

Jared Cunningham scored 33 points and made five 3-pointers for Oregon State (15-9, 5-7), which has lost 10 of the last 12 meetings with the Cougars.

Washington State controlled the game after a late first-half dash led to a 15-point halftime advantage. The Cougars led by double digits for the first 18½ minutes of the second half, and the closest Oregon State got was eight on Roberto Nelson’s 3-pointer with 29 seconds left.

DaVonte Lacy hit a 3-pointer with 5:07 left in the first half to start the Cougars off to a 17-3 run. Motum scored the final four Washington State points of the half for a 46-31 halftime lead.

Moore and Lacy added 10 points apiece for the Cougars. Moore had nine assists, three steals and zero turnovers in the first half.

Nelson scored 14 points for Oregon State, which shot just 37.3 percent from the field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Moore has 20 assists in the two wins over Oregon State this season … Cunningham had his third 30-point game of the season and moved into 28th place on Oregon State’s all-time scoring with 1,073 points. He’s two points behind 27th-place Teo Alibegovic (1989-91) … Lacy hit all three of his 3-point attempts in the first half … Oregon State committed 11 of its 14 turnovers in the first half.
