Lazeric Jones had 17 points and nine assists as UCLA shot nearly 60 percent from the floor – including 9 of 13 from three-point range – en route to a 77-60 victory over Colorado on Saturday.

Travis Wear scored seven of his 14 points during a decisive run in the second half and Tyler Lamb added 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists for UCLA (12-9, 5-4 Pac-12), which seemed one step ahead of Colorado’s defense all game and didn’t miss many open looks.

Andre Roberson had 12 points and 10 rebounds for his conference leading 13th double-double of the season and freshman Askia Booker scored 13 as Colorado (14-7, 6-3 Pac-12) fell to 1-3 on the road and out of a first-place tie in the Pac-12.

After Roberson’s 3-pointer brought Colorado to within 44-41 early in the second half, the Bruins went on a 25-5 tear, capped by seven straight points by Wear, including four on alley-oops. One of the passes was by Jerime Anderson, who had eight points and eight assists.

Colorado opened the game with a 12-4 run before UCLA answered with a 22-4 burst featuring seven different scorers.

After the Buffaloes scored 19 of the next 27 points to retake the lead, Lamb and Norman Powell hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Bruins in front 40-36 at halftime.

Jones scored a game-high 11 points in the first half as the teams combined to shoot 56 percent from the field, including six-for-eight from 3-point range by the Bruins.

UCLA, which finished 31 for 52 from the field (59.6 percent), had a season-high 26 assists.
