Devoe Joseph scored a season-high 30 points, including five 3-pointers, and Oregon improved to 9-1 at home with a 78-67 victory over Stanford on Thursday.

Joseph gave Oregon (11-4, 2-1 Pac-12) an eight-point lead when he drilled his fifth 3-pointer with 5:08 to play, and the Ducks were never threatened down the stretch.

Josh Owens scored 17 of his 19 points in the first half for Stanford (12-3, 2-1), which was playing its first road game since Dec. 1. The Cardinal shot 8-of-25 (32 percent) from 3-point range.

Joseph, who was 1-of-13 shooting in a loss to Washington on Saturday, shot 9-of-15 with a team-high seven rebounds. The transfer from Minnesota has made an immediate impact since becoming eligible Dec. 10.

Stanford, which fell to 6-22 in league road games since the start of the 2008-09 season, allowed more than 60 points for only the fifth time this season.

E.J. Singler scored 13 points for the Ducks, who have won five of their last six games. The Ducks outrebounded Stanford 29-24.

Stanford opened Pac-12 play by sweeping UCLA and Southern Cal while holding both opponents to less than 39 percent shooting, but the Ducks shot 50 percent in the first half and shot 25-of-52 (48.1 percent) for the game.
