Kenny Boynton scored 26 points, and No. 10 Florida rebounded from an upset loss at Rutgers by beating Yale 90-70 in Gainesville, Fla.

The Gators (11-3), whose five-game winning streak ended with an 85-83 double-overtime loss Thursday at Rutgers, found themselves down to the Bulldogs 9-0 just 1:36 into the contest.

A 17-3 run erased the early deficit. Erik Murphy’s 3-pointer pushed the Gators ahead 13-12, and Boynton’s layup with 14:12 left in the half capped the surge and gave Florida a 17-12 advantage. Four minutes later, a 12-0 Florida run made it 29-15.

Patric Young scored 19 points, and Murphy finished with a career-high 18 points. The Gators, who lead the nation in average 3-pointers, shot 12-for-21 from beyond the arc. Boynton and Murphy each finished 5-for-7 on 3-point attempts.

Greg Mangano led Yale (8-4) with 26 points and 14 rebounds, hitting four 3-pointers.

Both teams play at home Tuesday. Florida hosts UAB, while Yale welcomes in Holy Cross.
