Raymond Cintron tied a career high with 18 points to lead Middle Tennessee to a 68-56 victory over Ole Miss in a neutral-site game in Southaven, Miss., on Wednesday.

Cintron, who was 5-of-8 shooting including 4-of-7 on 3-pointers, scored seven points in the final 8:26 as Middle Tennessee (11-2) pulled away.

Center LaRon Dendy added 13 points, including 12 in the second half, and Marcus Knight added 11 points for the Blue Raiders.

JT Sulton's dunk with 8:51 left gave Middle Tennessee the lead for good 45-44. Cintron scored the next five points and after Sulton's jumper with 6:12 left put the Blue Raiders ahead 54-45, Cintron's two free throws completed the 13-1 run.

The Blue Raiders, who entered the game second in field goal percentage at 53.2 percent, were held to 44.4 percent (24-for-54), but outscored Ole Miss 30-20 inside.

Middle Tennessee started strong and built an 18-9 lead before Ole Miss (9-3) took a 27-26 halftime lead.

Jarvis Summers led Ole Miss with nine points.
