Tim Frazier had 17 points, 11 rebounds and six assists to lead Penn State to a 74-67 victory over visiting Cornell on Wednesday.

Penn State (8-5) picked up its second straight win over Cornell and evened the all-time series 5-5 while Cornell (4-6) lost its second straight game to a Big Ten opponent after losing to Illinois on Monday.

Frazier's lone block was the highlight of the game, though, when the 6-foot-1 guard turned away 6-foot-9 Deion Giddens on a dunk attempt in the first half.

The teams traded 3-point blows in the second half, combining for 13 from beyond the arc. Trey Lewis led the way for the Nittany Lions on the perimeter, going 4-for-6 and finishing with 13 points off the bench as Penn State made 7 of its 10 3-point field goals in the second half.

Cornell was 11-for-28 from outside with Drew Ferry hitting six and leading the Big Red with 20 points. Forward Shonn Miller chipped in with 15 points, shooting 3-for-6 from 3-point land, and 11 rebounds.

Jermaine Marshall scored 12 points for Penn State, getting eight of those from the foul line as Penn State was 22-for-30 from the line.

The Big Red, who have been outrebounded in every game this season, lost the battle on the glass 37-28, and allowed Penn State to grab 15 offensive rebounds.

Cornell was again with starting point guard Miles Asafo-Adjei, who was hospitalized with a leg infection in Illinois earlier this week.
