Michael Snaer led the way with 14 points as Florida State shook off a shaky first half that featured 15 turnovers to top visiting UNC-Greensboro 75-60 on Sunday.

The Seminoles (7-3) improved to 4-0 all-time against UNC-Greensboro, in a series that dates back to 1993 and are now 50-12 against current members of the Southern Conference.

UNC-Greensboro (2-8) is now 1-44 against current members of the ACC, its only win coming 83-74 over Georgia Tech on Nov. 9, 2007.

FSU led 34-28 at halftime as the Spartans kept it close, aided by another strong performance from sophomore forward Trevis Simpson, who followed up a 27-point showing a game ago with 19 Sunday. UNCG benefitted from 26 turnovers from the sloppy Seminoles.

Freshman guard Terry Whisnant II and Xavier Gibson each added 11 as well for Florida State, which put things away with a 19-5 run in the second half after the Spartans had pulled to within 43-40.
