Marcus Denmon led the way with 31 points and six rebounds as No. 13 Missouri crushed visiting Northwestern State 90-56 on Friday.

Ricardo Ratliffe added 22 points on 10-of-11 shooting and Michael Dixon scored 19 points off the bench for the Tigers (7-0), who have yet to win by less than 15 points and have won by an average of 27.9 points.

Denmon was 7-for-10 from 3-point range, and had two during Missouri’s 29-6 run to start the game. The Tigers cruised into the half with a 57-31 edge.

Denmon would hit four more 3-pointers and totaled 15 points as part of a 30-11 burst to start the second half. Ratliffe added eight points and Dixon buried another 3-pointer during that run to put the game away.

Missouri will take a bit of a step-up in competition on Tuesday when they face Villanova but do not have a ranked team on the schedule until a visit to Baylor on Jan. 21.

James Hulbin scored 14 points off the bench for the Demons (4-4).
