It didn't come easy without leading scorer Marshawn Powell, but Arkansas rallied in the final three minutes and ended the game on a 13-1 run for a 67-59 victory over visiting Utah Valley on Tuesday in the Southwest Showcase.

Arkansas (3-1) played its second game without Powell, who tore ligaments in his knee during practice last week and will miss the remainder of the season, and struggled to get into an offensive rhythm.

But so did the Wolverines (3-2). The teams combined for more turnovers (21) than field goals (20) in the first half.

Arkansas' strong freshman class kept the Razorbacks in it, though, as Rashad Madden, B.J. Young, Devonta Abron and Hunter Mickelson combined for 22 of the 27 first-half points.

Young finished with a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds, but he got some help from the veterans in the second half as Julysses Nobles added 14 points and Mardracus Wade scored 11.

Wade took charges on consecutive possessions and hit a go-ahead 3-pointer in between with 2:50 left, and the Razorbacks didn't trail again.

Arkansas went 7-for-21 from 3-point range and has made at least one 3-pointer in 742 consecutive games dating to 1989. The Razorbacks also had 10 steals, just below their SEC-best pace of 10.7 per game.

The Razorbacks improved to 2-1 in the five-team round-robin tournament, while Utah Valley dropped to 1-2.
