Jared Cunningham scored a career-high 35 points as Oregon State held on for an 82-72 victory over visiting Hofstra in a TicketCity Legends Classic regional game on Wednesday.

The Beavers (3-0) led 62-60 with 7:11 remaining before outscoring the Pride 12-5 over the next four-plus minutes to extend the lead to nine by the 3:04 mark.

Devon Collier scored nine of his career-best 25 points in the final seven minutes to help secure the win as Oregon State hit its final seven foul shots down the stretch.

Both teams shot well early, with Hofstra hitting 54 percent of its shots en route to a 41-39 halftime lead, but only Oregon State managed to maintain the touch after the intermission, going 13-for-24 (54 percent) in the second half. Cunningham and Collier finished a combined 20-for-28 shooting.

Mike Moore led the Pride (1-1) with 16 points, while David Imes added 15 points and seven rebounds.

Joe Burton finished with 10 rebounds and 11 assists for Oregon State.
