Where: Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, North Carolina
Officials: # Bryan Kersey, # Mike Eades, # Bernard Clinton

Erick Green’s 18-footer with 4.7 seconds left lifted Virginia Tech to a 52-51 victory over Florida State in an ACC quarterfinal Friday in Greensboro, N.C.

The Seminoles' Derwin Kitchen hit a fallaway jumper as time expired, but officials ruled he did not get the shot off in time.

Sixth-seeded Virginia Tech (21-10) will face second-seeded Duke (28-4) in Saturday’s semifinals. The Hokies appear to have locked up an at-large berth to the NCAA tournament after three straight NIT appearances.

Senior guard Malcolm Delaney, who scored 16 points, orchestrated the final possession and set up Green, who made only one of 12 shots before the game-winner as the Hokies shot 31.5 percent.

The Seminoles (21-10) played their sixth game (3-3) without leading scorer Chris Singleton, who should return from his fractured foot for the NCAA tournament. Bernard James led Florida State with 11 points and eight rebounds.
