Jordan Taylor scored a career-high 39 points on 11-of-19 shooting as No. 10 Wisconsin held off host Indiana, 77-67, on Thursday.

Keaton Nankivil added 16 points for the Badgers (23-6, 13-4 Big Ten), who have won four straight and finish out the regular season at No. 1 Ohio State on Sunday.

Only two players in Wisconsin history have broken 40 points in a game, with Michael Finley’s 42 back in 1994 being the last time a Badger hit the mark. Taylor made a nice run at it, scoring 17 in the first half to pace Wisconsin to a 32-28 lead at the break and then taking over in the second.

The junior guard scored 17 straight points for the Badgers during one stretch, taking a one-point edge and turning it into a 63-50 gap with 6:22 remaining. Taylor hit four 3-pointers in the burst and finished 7 of 8 from beyond the arc and 10 of 10 from the free throw line.

The Hoosiers (12-18, 3-14) made a move to get back into it at the end but the Badgers went 10 of 10 from the line in the final 1:39 to seal it.
