Jeron Belin’s 3-pointer with 10 seconds to play put the Peacocks up one. Alabama’s Tony Mitchell missed a jumpshot with two seconds to left, sending the Tide to its third straight defeat.

Belin’s game-winner was his only 3-pointer of the game, but gave St. Peter’s its first win and an upset of an SEC team to boot.

Nick Leon led the Peacocks (1-3) with 15 points. Belin finished with six.

JaMychal Green had 15 for the Crimson Tide (2-3), which shot 32.5 percent from the field and could not capitalize on a huge discrepancy at the foul line.

St. Peter’s attempted only four free throws. Alabama made 19 of 25 from the foul line.

The Crimson Tide dropped all three of its games in tournaments and failed to reach 50 points in its last two losses.
